I love Alber Elbaz. Lanvin is always beautiful and I am kind of bummed I am not in Paris for his 10th anniversary show. I was at his first show for Lanvin right after he was fired from YSL which I didn’t understand then and I still don’t understand now but whatever, it has always been entirely YSL’s loss because he has been killing it at Lanvin for a decade. Cheers to that! He is one of the most brilliant designers alive. Period. But he’s killing me with all that fur in a whole other way. Why can’t it be faux people? I couldn’t tell the difference between the faux and the real Lagerfeld showed a few seasons ago. All that faux was fabulous. More fabulous from Lanvin below…
