I don’t need to wax poetic about how much I love when brands actually do what they say and mean what they say, so needless to say, I love Levi’s. Levi’s Haus in LA hosted a little soiree last night to celebrate their collaboration on a limited edition 501® jean, made of eight post-consumer waste plastic bottles, for EKOCYCLE™, a social movement founded by Will.i.am and Coca Cola. The jeans are a part of the Levi’s® WasteLessTM collection they introduced last fall to educate consumers about recycling, which is also the ethos behind EKOCYCLE™ “a global initiative designed to educate consumers about everyday recycling choices and change the way consumers think about and treat waste.” Pics from the night below.
