Photos de Cinéma: Images of the French New Wave

Is there anyone who knows better than the French how to make things that are bad for us look so good? An exhibition at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences celebrating the impact of the French New Wave on filmmaking opened March 23rd and will be up through June 24th. “Photos de Cinéma: Images of the French New Wave by Raymond Cauchetier” shows off some of the most amazing film stills during the most revolutionary time in cinema history. Hare & Hart Bags

The line was actually launched in 2009 by Jennie Engelhardt and Emily Harrison with leather jackets and this season they’ve done vegetable tanned cow hair bags and the clutch above is my current obsession. Evening Look, It’s Time for Another Party

I’m having a moment in black. The Advocate’s 45th Anniversary party is on Thursday and since one of my favorite people is an editor there I’m going with bells and heels on (and a cute plus one). Love this chiffon full length dress from Helmut Lang with a Rag & Bone tuxedo jacket, sick heels from McQueen and a killer (literally) clutch from Christian Louboutin. Love accessories with dual purposes.
