DAP is hosting a conversation between artist Ross Bleckner & novelist Frederic Tuten in East Hampton this Thursday from 5-7pm if you happen to be in the hood (which frankly, I wish I was… am still craving a nice East Coast vacation since the last one was null and void). Both Mr. Bleckner and Mr. Tuten have new books out, Bleckner’s Our Lives in the New York Times, and Tuten’s latest book of short stories, Self Portraits: Fictions. Bleckner’s book explores the juxtaposition of luxury and news on the pages of The New York Times with nearly three decades’ worth of page A3 and Tiffany ads.
