We went to the Volkswagen sponsored MOMA event last night where LCD Soundsystem‘s James Murphy did a DJ set and James Franco roamed the halls. Ran into lots of old friends and familiar faces and was generally entertained by the sights, sounds and champagne. Volkswagen is going to be sponsoring various acquisitions at MOMA and PS1 and last night they brought in a good looking crowd to announce it. Volkswagen is also launching a new hybrid vehicle which they displayed last night along with the classic bug above. My first car in high school was a Volkswagen Rabbit which my friends in Baltimore did pieces on. I have a photo of it somewhere….
