I am not going to pretend I didn’t enjoy the beauty regimen I put myself through for Oscars week. Last Saturday was the first of several blow outs I had done, starting at the one year old Kristoff Ball salon in Beverly Hills. Kristoff’s uber talented young son, Noriel (see below) did mine and Estella’s hair last weekend. Monday there was a waxing appointment with the Russian ladies at 315 Beverly Drive, Bar Method in West Hollywood, a massage from Lilly at the Pain Relief Center on 3rd Street and Sweetzer, followed by an amazing pumpkin peel facial and brow wax by Lenora at Exhale Spa in Hollywood (they just reopened in the Loews Hotel in Hollywood about a month ago). A hair touch up by Blo at the W that evening to get me looking half decent for the Art of Elysium auction (I used a lot of dry shampoo this week too, my favorite is L’Oreal Everstyle Energizing ). This past Saturday I went to Bronzed Airbrush Tanning in Santa Monica, where they do organic parabin free spray tans. I like the express tan which you leave on for four hours. Make up on Sunday by Kira Nasrat and one more blow out for Sunday afternoon and evening by Rossano Ferretti in Beverly Hills. Oh! And my new obsession as of this week is Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill Excess mascara. It is to die for. Though it was mostly a lot of fun, my beauty regimen this week doesn’t hold a candle to what some of the girls who actually hit the carpets go through. I don’t know how anyone can sit through all those hours of daily hair and make up and people poking at your eyes all the time.
