Ok let’s just say it… a lot of the Paris shows were a disappointment this season. Not sure what the big houses are thinking or going through but there wasn’t a lot to inspire or shout about from the rooftops so thankfully the old Avant Garde hasn’t lost its reliable touch. A.F. Vandevorst’s fall 2012 is breathtakingly beautiful. I love all the layers and knits and subtle drops of satin. More below…
