Rizzoli is publishing a book of images by legendary fashion illustrator (and occasional model scout… he discovered Jerry Hall, Grace Jones, and Jessica Lange) Antonio Lopez this September By Roger Padilha and Mauricio Padilha with a Foreword by Andre Leon Talley and an Epilogue by Anna Sui. Mr.Lopez passed away in 1987 at the age of 44 but left behind a huge archive of work, including drawings and photographs, which used to appear regularly in the pages of Vogue, the New York Times, Women’s Wear Daily, and Interview Magazine. The book coincides with a retrospective of his work at The Suzanne Geiss Company gallery in NY, which opens September 6th during NYFW and runs through October 20th.
