Michael Apted‘s fascinating documentary, Bending the Light premieres this weekend on August 3rd at Michael Moore’s Traverse City Film Festival in Michigan. It’s a great tribute to the incredible Japanese craftsmen who make the lenses for high end cameras and includes interviews with the photographers and cinematographers who use them: Greg Gorman, Laura El-Tantawy, Richard Barnes, and Stephen Goldblatt.
