The Couture Dominatrix

Let’s call this the couture dominatrix look (*or the Peter Lindbergh circa 1989 super model look I will never tire of). Sometimes I get so bored with how safe everyone is with fashion I just want to wear a gown to Key Foods. I beat this subject to a pulp as a stylist in LA, where at some events the most you could hope for on the red carpet was a prom dress that didn’t come off the rack, which is sad considering how much gorgeous fashion is out there. I love this tulle gown from Alberta Ferretti, a suede hat from Maison Michel, boots from Moschino and a Givenchy shark tooth nail necklace. More gowns to wear to a gala, a party, a photo shoot on the beach or the grocery store below.
