One of the great benefits of heels having risen in height to epic proportions is that they can now officially serve as weapons. Sure, it’s not news that a stiletto can kill (I think it’s the running joke in the Conde Nast building) but there is some comfort in knowing that should you need them the right heel or strategically placed spike can do some serious damage.
