I photographed and styled Melissa Palichat, a DJ (known as Mz.Poppinz) and classical violinist from Miami via Pittsburgh a few weeks ago and these are some of my favorite shots and outtakes. Melissa is a talented classically trained musician (she studied at Carnegie Mellon!) who combines her classical training with DJ’ing, putting on some truly incredible performances. I love her music and fell in love with her spirit during our shoot. She is stunning but also warm, easygoing and fun. She wanted some edge in the photos and was so open and adventurous about the process. Nothing like a rad new chic to add to our roster. Can you guess where we shot? More from our day in LA below…
