Sacai Fall 2012

Have to admit I’m not excited by the images coming out of Paris from the designers that usually make me happy (YSL, Givenchy, Valentino, Celine). McQueen hasn’t shown yet so maybe there is hope yet but it’s the “younger” brands that are making me swoon this season. I love the perfect combo of masculin/feminin with just the right amount of soft and hard which Chitose Abe’s line Sacai hits perfectly for Fall 2012. The collection was launched in 1999 by Chitose who had up until then worked for Junya Watanabe (you can feel the Junya and Comme des garcons in her collection which I love!) She also launched men’s in 2009. I want this whole line. More chic below…
