This may not be the dress to cook Thanksgiving dinner in but if I was living out my fashion-tasy it would surely be the dress to host it in. Alexander McQueen black tulip jacquard circle dress, Chrissie Morris suede, leather and stingray heels, Alchimie Hermes bracelet in rose gold and 4.73 carat diamonds and, because for every occasion there is a scent, Lalique de Lalique 2011 Limited Edition “Envol” Parfum seems perfect. It’s not quite the country chic look I will probably pull together for Thursday’s dinner which I am hosting at my place but every girl has two sides to entertain, right? Below an Orla Kiely silk organza dress with Rag and Bone booties, and a knit cap from Topshop (because I secretly wish I was hosting all my friends and family at an old country house in Rhinebeck). And I am obsessed with the musky citrusy vibe of Le Labo “Ambrette 9” Eau de Parfum.
