Tony Oursler has a new show up at Lehman Maupin in NYC. His short films, sculptures and video installations have been blowing minds for several decades, and I remember occasionally hanging out in the East Village with him and our old friend Joe Gibbons, who was an honorary Bard member through our film professors. The show is up through June 14th. He’s also got a new book coming out July 5th, filled with images from his archives of inspiration and research accompanied by essays.
