Speaking of gender bending accessories and looks, I am loving all the pant suits on red carpets these days. I’ve been hoping for years ladies would take more risks and it finally seems to be happening. This photo is from a shoot I photographed and styled in 2008 for WWD, which I still love. Shorts, boots or heels and vests are a timeless look for summer, day or night.
Saint Laurent classic blouse, Rag and Bone leather waist shorts, a men’s J. Crew suit vest that I love (this will look great on girls in a smaller size though perhaps there will be a women’s version soon? In the meantime there is also this stretch wool vest for women) and a Ralph Lauren tweed vest that will look great as well, especially with the python boots below.
