This post is a bit overdue. Last month I went to a friend’s birthday at The Roof bar on top of the Hotel Wilshire, a small boutique hotel that opened a few months ago across from the Conde Nast building on Wilshire and Crescent Heights. Kind of a brilliant much needed idea and the place has lots of green methods they apply which I love. Plus the view from the roof is amazing as are the drinks and the vibe. Chef Eric Greenspan from The Foundry (yes, those amazing insane grilled cheese sandwiches that I dream about) is in charge of the rooftop menu so you can’t go wrong on the food either. Anyone for a new rooftop pool to play hooky at next summer?
