San Gennaro Feast, Little Dom’s

My love of Little Dom’s knows no end… I think we went there three times this week alone, including Monday for their infamous Monday night supper. And my first birthday dinner in LA back in 2008 was hosted by Dominick’s in West Hollywood where I was a compulsive eater and drinker until I moved to the East side last year. But even before I moved Little Dom’s was always one of my favorites in LA and as usual Warner & Co have something fun up their chef’s sleeves. As of today through this Sunday September 30th they are adding some specials in honor of the San Gennaro Feast to their menu all under $10, some under $5. Rice balls, porchetta sandwhiches, BBQ beef short ribs, sausage & cavalo nero focaccia, and even gelato for $4. And their house wine is just $5 a glass all weekend. Back in 2009 while I was the editor of a magazine here in LA, I asked Raquel Olivo to shoot Warner Ebbink, the owner of all of the above as well as 101 Cafe in Hollywood, for a chefs feature in our food issue. Warner, below, photographed in LA by Raquel…
