Olaf Bender and Carsten Nicolai, who play together as Diamond Version, have an electro rhythm filled debut album, CI, being released on Mute records June 3rd. Neil Tennant from Pet Shop Boys collaborated on one of the tracks, Were You There. It’s old school electronica and synth, which you will either love or hate. I am of the former. It makes me feel like sweaty, humid summer nights, dancing outside in a field somewhere. Impossible not to love that.
