Love love both of these collections… Resort 2013 from 3.1 Phillip Lim and Reed Krakoff, both showed some of the most beautiful tones and combinations of nudes and neutrals that I die over. I have been obsessed with nude, pink and mandarin combinations recently (I just bought myself a mandarin bag that I can’t put down and all I want to do is wear pink, which if you know me is the oddest thing). Grizzly Bear has a new album coming out September 18th, 2012. The track above is the first one released from the still unnamed fourth album, with a tour starting in late August thru November, playing LA’s Greek Theater on October 10th.
That was a fun weekend. Sunday afternoons in LA rarely disappoint when there is someone willing to invite a gaggle of friends to their pool for cocktails and doing absolutely nothing. I like the look of heels by the pool and going all out even if it is just Sunday afternoon. BIllboards around LA have been announcing a new exhibition of Helmut Newton’s work that marks the first LA show at the Perry Rubenstein Gallery. The show, opening June 26th through August 25th, was curated by his wife June and includes 20 nudes and 20 landscapes, many of them shot in LA. “Three Boys From Pasadena: A Tribute to Helmut Newton,” at The Williamson Gallery of the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena also opens this month on June 14th.
