I may be a film snob when I’m feeling nostalgic and heady at Sundance (don’t get me started on the merits of Charles Burnett and Sidney Peterson) but there is nothing I love more than a good high school flick ala Heathers, Clueless, Fast Times, Mean Girls, and The Craft. I love Hedi’s fall 2014 Saint Laurent collection. Although I still see a lot of St. Mark’s place and vintage Anna Sui in his collections, which is a great look and exactly how I dressed all through high school in the 80’s, I’m not always sold on it being (Yves) Saint Laurent. That said, the layers and coats were phenomenal, I want every single one (and those boots!) and will continue to live in my black tights with dresses and blazers forever. Continue reading
