Marissa Webb Fall 2014

marissa webb 1

Marissa Webb’s flirty tomboy rocks plaid, pink and cool layers, though I wish she had left the fur behind or used faux. I don’t know what is going on the past few years with this awful resurgence of real fur. Our friend John Bartlett just wrote a great article on this sad trend. #ProFaux… Continue reading

Sometimes Valentine’s Day Sucks But The Gifts Don’t

estanciaglenmorangie-original
Valentine’s Day is like New Year’s Eve, full of expectations and let downs. Which is why I recommend giving everyone booze as gifts. Valentine’s Day may suck again this year but atleast there are fun presents to think about, and creating a gift list is really the only reason I am even saying the V word. Continue reading

RIP Philip Seymour Hoffman

a-most-wanted-man

RIP brilliant amazing wonderful Philip Seymour Hoffman. He was in so many incredible films over the years, I never got enough of him on screen, and this past Sundance he was in two of my favorites, Anton Corbijn’s A Most Wanted Man and John Slattery’s God’s Pocket. Hearing of the way he died just broke my heart into a million pieces. Why is it that the reason someone is a brilliant artist and feels so much of the world around them is also the same reason they are left to deal with pain that forces them to not want to feel anything at all? It is such a cruel twist of the fabric. RIP.

Gigi Green Clutch

green clutch

Love this green Gigi clutch. I’ve gotten in the habit of having a small flat clutch in my purse to keep my iPhone in and this one is perfect.
