Harmony Korine did a film for Proenza Schouler which they just launched on their website. It’s pretty good and easily stands alone as a great little experimental short regardless of the commercial aspect involved. I’ve always liked Harmony’s work and there aren’t a lot of filmmakers just doing whatever they want no holds barred, no rules with an outright dedication to their own vision which Harmony has always done. I think a certain segment of the older Avant-garde filmmakers would definitely appreciate his attitude and I think there is actually a lot of thought that goes into the content, execution and presentation of his films regardless of the perception. Proenza Schouler’s Resort 2011 Collection below is also really beautiful and worth obsessing over.
