Ann Demeulemeester and Martin Margiela have always been two of my favorite designers and some of my favorite shows to see in Paris during fashion week. Valentino Vettori’s line IMPROVD is a great alternative when you can’t afford the higher price tag of those exquisite lines. Mr. Vettori and his Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 collections are in LA this week showing beautifully cut and structured pieces. IMPROVD has adopted many of the ethos and design sensibility behind the best Avant Garde brands and made them affordable while still maintaining exceptional fabrics, colors and cuts. The Fall 2010 collection is currently available at several boutiques including Arcade in West Hollywood. There are plans for a freestanding boutique in NYC to open later this year as well.
