J’Adore Dior, Diorama

The art of perfume is an elaborate craft and some scents take years to perfect so I find it exciting when a new one emerges. Dior is launching two new scents for Fall. The newest Diorama Eau de Parfum coming out in October 2010 will be available exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue. In 1949, Edmond Roudnitska created Diorama, the second fragrance launched by Monsieur Dior. Now, Dior Perfumer Francois Demachy pays homage to the original with the second offering in the “Les Creations de Monsieur Dior” collection after the launch of Diorissimo Eau de Parfum in November 2009. From Le Domaine de Manon, the exclusive flower producer for the Dior House in Grasse, France, the scent is derived from Bergamot, Plum Accord and Indian Jasmine with Turkish Rose Essence, Cedar and Cumin all blended to make one of beauty’s best scents. Also hitting counters in October is a reinterpretation of the classic J’adore which will be available exclusively at Nordstrom’s. Love the gorgeous bottle design for J’adore and the vintage Diorama, below.
