Jim Dine had an opening for his new paintings at The Pace Gallery last night which I didn’t make it to because I was busy with fashion week shows and presentations… AND the GQ party where I waxed poetic to one of my all time favorite editors, Jim Nelson. I told him I would be happy to bring him coffee if I could work for him. I meant every word. I’ve been obsessing over Jim Nelson’s GQ for a while now. Was kind of thrilled when he told me he is an old punk rocker from Maryland as well. That explains a LOT! I love it… GQ is the perfect combo of music, fashion, politics and art which I obsess over. And it’s done with a wicked edge every month, not to mention Jim’s editor’s letters are always amazing. Anyway, back to Jim Dine… The show is up through March 12, 2011 at 32 East 57th Street NYC
