Anton Corbijn does not know how to take a bad photo or make a bad film. I love his lightly affected pacing and think this is an amazing follow up to his film from a few years ago, the beautifully done Control about iconic musicians Joy Division. So I know this is going to be great. Plus it’s George Clooney in a hot sexy mysterious sniper spy movie. Love it. The American opens this Wednesday September 1st, 2010. Mr. Corbijn has also created a book of photographic stills from the film set and behind the scenes called Inside The American which will be released this week as well.
