There are three shows that I am dying to see but they involve a little travel and effort. Rineke Dijkstra has her first big Amereican retrospective up at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art through June which is when it will come to the Guggenheim in NY. I’m planning on being in SF this weekend so really excited to check it out and should plans go awry I can always see it in NY (or hell, maybe both…) In May Karen Kilimnik will have a retrospective at the Brandt Foundation Study Center in Greenwhich Connecticut featuring everything from drawings to paintings, photographs and illustrations. And in honor of the one year anniversary of his death, Tim Hetherington‘s work will be on display at the Yossi Milo gallery in NY through May 19th. Images from the artists below…
