Marilyn Minter has a new show (her second at the gallery) opening at Regen Projects Saturday April 6th from 6pm to 8pm. The show includes five large scale paintings alongside Minter’s earliest black and white photographs from 1969, of her drug-addicted mother. I love her “exploration of the pathology of glamour.” Amen. The show is up through May 11th at the gallery’s new location, 6750 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, 310-276-5424.
