Rodial 10th Anniversary Luncheon

Rodial founder Maria Hatzistefanis was in town from London this week with lots of new products and to celebrate ten years of her amazing line. I am pretty hard to please with beauty products and there are really only a handful of lines that do what they say they do and Rodial is one of them. A few years ago I went crazy for their snake serum launch and am dying to try the Bee Venom Moisturizer she just released. And the best news is that Maria came up with a cheaper line of really similar products that you can find at Target at a third of the price. I went to the luncheon yesterday (pics below!) in West Hollywood and this morning stopped by the Kravetz PR showroom to explore the Nip+Fab line. The venom products are my favorite and I used the Glamoxy Snake Serum Mask to the last drop. It leaves your skin super smooth and tight, which for a needle phobe like me is a miracle. So excited to try the routine Maria customized for me: Rodial Glamtox cleanser followed by the Nip+Fab Glycolic fix exfoliating facial pads and then the Bee Venom moisturizer. Nip+Fab launched a year ago at Target and in March they introduced the Viper Venom wrinkle fix ($20!) which has the same ingredients as the snake serum and can also be used as a primer. The line includes Viper Venom eye fix for tightening and circles ($15!) and Complex correction cream with spf 30 ($15) which comes in only two shades because adjusts to your skin tone. Last December they also launched the Stiletto fix with peppermint to cool your exhausted feet and increase circulation ($10!) I am going to guinea pig myself for the next few weeks with all the new products and report back…

Me wearing my new favorite blazer from Veronica Beard (Or “The Veronicas” as I like to call them). Surprisingly bright and bushy eyed after a late night flight from NY, during which time I read Sheryl Sandberg’s book “Lean In” cover to cover (more on that later, I LOVED it to say the least!)

Me with Christos Garkinos who is one half of the cool guys behind LA’s best vintage shop, Decades on Melrose, which is also the setting for their new show that just started airing on Bravo, “The Dukes of Melrose.”
