There are some staples in my summer beauty regime that never change: self tanner before hitting the beach, plenty of sunscreen and water, good music and a great book. Below some new fun things as well as my favorite tried and true products, which I swear by.

Self tan bronzing lotion from St.Tropez is great throughout the week. I also love self tanners with a little bit of SPF in them like the Loreal Sublime Bronze, which I like to put on my legs a few hours before hitting the beach so I have some cover up and it gives me a head start for a pretty glow. This bronzer in particular is my favorite for many years, it doesn’t smear, streak and looks completely natural. I swear by it year round and especially in the summer but recently it’s actually been hard to find so I suggest stocking up when you find it (there are several in my beauty cupboard at the moment). My favorite lip anything and everything is Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment; not only does it have SPF but it gives the most subtle bit of color and nourishes and moisturizes my lips perfectly.

Kiehl’s Silk Groom is still the best for de-frizzing before and after the beach. I’ve sworn by this cream for almost twenty years. It is a fantastic product. Ditto Klorane dry shampoo, which is the best dry shampoo I have ever used and great to spray through your hair after the beach if you can’t head straight home to shower.
