After graduating Parsons Chris Gelinas went to work at some serious A-list design houses, starting with an internship at Marc Jacobs in 2006 followed by jobs at Balenciaga, Proenza Schouler, and Theyskens’ Theory, all of which makes him a serious one to watch. Now that he’s won the Made for Peroni Young Designer Award, he will be a must see at next season’s shows. I saw his second collection (his debut was in September 2013) at Paul Wilmot yesterday and it’s pretty sweet.
