Speaking of faux fur for the new year, I found this perfect vest at Darryl’s in Rhinebeck last week while doing some post Christmas shopping. It was on sale for $50 so I couldn’t resist even though I have more than enough faux fur in my closet. There was a lot of great vintage shopping in Rhinebeck as well, and a cute little consignment shop across the way from Darryl’s on Market Street that had a great selection of bags and clothes. It’s only an hour and a half from the city by train or car so the perfect day trip. There is an amazing home decor store called Spruce as well, which I fell in love with. You can hit Upstate Films for a movie and Liberty next door for food and cocktails after.
