Five minutes in a room with me and you will soon hear me rhapsodize about GQ and their punk to politics editor in chief Jim Nelson. I love his aesthetic and approach to fashion and culture in general (plus he is an old DC born and bred punk rocker). That said, it is not surprising that their resident men’s style know it all is the one and only Glenn O’Brien who has every sartorialist this side of the ocean beat and schooled. This month a special stand-alone issue hits newsstands with the best of Glenn’s GQ “Style Guy” column and if it’s as good as the book Glenn wrote last year then I will be the first lady in line to see what the gents are up to. The issue is on newsstands through January.
