Levi’s is known for throwing great parties and this past Saturday they did not disappoint. In the hot hills of Topanga they created an old school 70s style music festival, decked out in cool graphics, to celebrate the launch of their Orange Tab vintage collection, which is inspired by their own archives. With friends, whiskey, beer and music galore we spent the afternoon eating and dancing to great tunes from 1972. It was a super fun day, and you know I have nothing but love for my Levi’s gals all day every day, but especially when they spoil us so. Pics from the day below.

All the guests came ready for 1972, with awesome vintage threads, loved this bag someone was carrying!
Lots of whiskey and beer on hand (and water …see below, we drank our water out of army style canteens)
I like to bring a little Prada to the desert… And my Frye boots of course.
Erika Christensen and beau, who also came prepared with outfit changes for the rest of their day (*see shoe change below)
Three shoe changes for the day’s activities… Frye boots for the music festival, Lucky Brand wedges for a BBQ and Charles David heels for the summer party in the hills later in the evening.
Dave Grohl performing with Chevy Metal and Taylor Hawkins. I’ve known Dave since he was in the DC punk band Scream, the summer he joined Nirvana. That was the same summer my friends and I lived in Ocean City, MD before our senior year in high school, when Dave dated our friend Nicole. Yes, that happened. He used to come visit her on weekends. That was a few months before Nirvana really broke big and went all out. Yeah, I know… totally random. Life is funny and serendipitous.

The awesome flower girls who have been hanging out at the recent Levi’s Haus events, making all of us look beautiful with their flower wreaths and head bands.
