So I have a new obsession with this Toronto based line Pink Tartan. Kimberley Newport-Mimran is the President and Head Designer of the line she co-founded in Toronto in 2002 and I am dying over some of the dresses and military looks she did for Fall 2011. I especially love one dress in particular that I actually pulled for Taryn but it was too big for her so I wore it to the InStyle summer soiree last Wednesday instead. The dress I wore (see below) will be available at Saks later this week although I fess up, I got it off the rack at their press showroom in NY a few weeks ago and promptly hijacked it with their permission to LA for the event.
Above is the dress that I wore last week with one of my favorite Helena De Natalio clutches and a pair of Charles David mandarin heels from last Spring. I love the contrasting stripes with the prints and just a tiny pop of color. Below is a look I love from the Pink Tartan Spring Summer 2011 collection. They are showing in NY for Fashion Week for the first time on September 10th which I can’t wait to see!
