Generation Ink

Just got a gorgeous book in the mail from Pelluceo Publishing. New Zealand born photographer Paul Nathan shot a pretty diverse group of guys and gals from Williamsburg, Brooklyn with all kinds of ink in all kinds of places. As I flipped through the pages of Generation Ink I kept looking for familiar faces from over the years but found not a single one, which tells me two things: 1) I am no longer in my twenties and 2) there are hundreds of thousands of tattooed bodies and faces in Williamsburg so impossible to get them all. Love the book. It has a simple beauty in it’s straightforward approach to the portraits. Some of the bodies below.
