Maison Martin Margiela is launching three fragrances in Europe this summer that will hit the states next year. The three scents, Flower Market, Beach Walk, and Funfair Evening, make up Replica which is also the name of their vintage inspired capsule collection of flea market finds. Love the bottle design and I’m guessing the fragrances won’t disappoint either. Their new website is also launching this summer and just in case you didn’t know, they have a boutique in LA which opened in 2007.

7 For All Mankind is having a style event hosted by fashion editor Melissa Magsaysay, author of City of Style, who just held her book launch at Phillip Lim‘s West Hollywood boutique this past Tuesday. The place was packed with every name in LA’s fashion world, from editors to stylists and celebrity friends all around, it was a really fun evening and we all had Missy sign our copies of her new book. Stop by the 7FAM Santa Monica store on Thursday, June 7th, 5-8 PM and say hi to Missy who will be signing books and dispensing style advice. Customers that spend $250 or more will receive a manicure & gift bag including a signed copy of City of Style. And there will of course be cocktails.

I also love food related books and have read every single one Ruth Reichl has ever written, some of them twice. Late British interiors designer David Hicks, who was all the rage in 60s and 70s London, was the source of inspiration for the latest collection of wall paper print bags from Tila March. I’m kind of obsessed. Tila March (who also does great heels!) is designed by French Elle‘s fashion editor Tamara Taichman who unearthed his archives in London for this collection. Continue reading
