LOVE this Madewell lace dress (this one too) with Louboutin heels, Valextra clutch and Chanel vintage earrings though if truth be told Chanel is like a Warhol to me; I respect the history and aesthetics but it’s been so overplayed in pop culture that I find it painfully dull most of the time (much like LA cocktail party conversations though the earrings look cute with this right?)

Fifth Avenue, 5AM

In between holiday dinners and parties last week and this weekend I finally got to reading Sam Wasson‘s book that’s been sitting on my nightstand forever. Fifth Avenue 5AM came out in 2010 and that’s how long I’ve been trying to get to it which is what I finally did after the champagne swilling was over. I LOVE this book. The perfect blend of nostalgia and beautiful Hollywood & fashion world lore. Highly recommended if you are at all interested in film or fashion or both…

Scott Campbell did a great little short (love!) exclusively for The Last Magazine which is up on their online edition right now. You can also buy the print version of the magazine (which is gorgeous) at newsstands. It only comes out twice a year and was started in 2008 by our friend Tenzin Wild and his partner in creative crime (and co-Editor in Chief) Magnus Berger. In between creating magazines the boys also create beautiful ad campaigns for all sorts of sweet fashionable brands the likes of Givenchy, Alexander Wang, Lancôme, Derek Lam, Helmut Lang, etc. you get the idea…

Holiday Mid Week Brunch, A Snowless Winter

Really I could just live in this look day in, day out. But for today it’s perfect for a midweek brunch (it’s the holidays so technically we can do brunch on a Tuesday). A Marc by Marc Jacobs silk dress with an Ann Taylor jacket (I got one over Thanksgiving while visiting my parents in Baltimore that I’ve been obsessively living in for weeks) with a pair of biker boots, The Row aviators and this sweet Diego bucket bag from Alexander Wang with a lightweight scarf from Mulberry to wrap it all up.
