The Best Salt on Earth

I don’t claim to be any kind of cooking expert but I definitely know what I like and what tastes good and this stuff is the best salt in the world. It will make anything taste better. It’s the cheese of spices. Beyond. Vignalta salt also known as Sale Alle Erbe Delle Marlunghe is hard to find at local stores so get it online. Thanks to the fabulous Ms. Gina Fox (soon to be an elected official in Rhinebeck NY no less) who turned me onto this radical ingredient she’s been using for as long as I’ve known her (half my life to be exact!)

Walter Steiger at Barney’s

This Monday is marked by two pieces of good news… WWD has finally redesigned their website (about time!) and Barney’s New York is relaunching Walter Steiger shoes for fall. LOVE it! I am going to ignore all other forms of scary or otherwise unhappy news form all markets. Zip it. I only want to hear good news from here on. Otherwise stop freaking us out and let us shop til we drop. Please.

Taryn in Joy Cioci

Taryn looked magical last night. For the premier of her new film “The Perfect Age of Rock and Roll” she wore a gorgeous Joy Cioci dress from her first collection, Brian Atwood heels and a Kelly Locke clutch. The film was really great as well, amazing cast (Peter Fonda, Jason Ritter and Kevin Zegers) packed with incredible music. I really loved all the old real life blues musicians they used as well. Director Scott D. Rosenbaum packed the film with a lot of heart and soul… Continue reading

Nicolas Feuillatte Rose

At this point I am guessing my mother would say I have a problem. I talk about champagne way too much. I think about it, dream about and definitely drink a lot of it. And am always a little excited about finding a new twist to an old favorite. Nicolas Feuillatte, founded 35 years ago, is not only Continue reading
