I didn’t take a lot of photos driving to and from Sundance this past week, but I did manage to get a few of what has officially become an obsession: the rest stops of America. They are surprisingly beautiful, almost like paintings after a second look. These are some of the few I pulled over for while driving back to LA yesterday. It’s a 13 hour drive each way but goes by fast, even faster when you are shooting or making quick films on your iPhone (see Instagram).
This was my view sometime last week, when I woke up at 6:30AM to start lining up early for a 9AM screening. Can we talk about issues? #FilmGEEK
