Art in The Streets

Before I fell off the face of the earth at Coachella I went to the artists’ opening of MOCA’s new show Art In The Streets, a stunning history of graffiti art in all its forms and glory. Everything from the first train in NYC to the last Banksy wall and everything in between (including some great moments in publishing history… Thrasher!) Usually at an art opening it’s difficult to really look at the work but this show was so intensely mind blowing that you couldn’t help but be enthralled. I walked around for an hour, breathless, with my eyes glued. A phenomenal historical show. See if you can find the tiny typo in the wall description I saw at the show…
