Assouline has just published a beautiful book of British photographer Cecil Beaton’s collages and private scrapbooks. Beaton, who worked for fifty years non-stop starting in the late 20′s, mostly for Vogue, died in 1980. He was not only an amazing fashion and portrait photographer but also an Academy Award-winning stage and costume designer for films and the theater. An early champion of enjoying every creative outlet you have and the original photographer and stylist.
