A friend of mine who happens to be moving to DC to work as a correspondent for Obama’s White House (you only get that opportunity once in a life time… I am beyond excited for him!) invited us out for a going away dinner at Genwa’s Korean BBQ place on Wilshire a couple of nights ago. I am still not eating meat but the side salads and fried rice were more than sufficient to clue me in that this place is phenomenal. And a must whether you are a fan of Korean BBQ or not. The salads, veggie and rice dishes were incredibly tasty and the sauces were amazing. If your friends are as picky as mine there will be plenty of meat and vegetarian items to keep everyone happy.
