There is only one La Femme Nikita in the world and it was directed and released in 1990 by Luc Besson. A few months back I watched the trailer for the new CW series Nikita and was impressed by how good it looked. It seems energetic, sexy and a bit cheeky in all the right ways. And obviously I love a woman with a gun who can use it properly or at least fake it well. Maggie Q looks great in it and while nothing will ever replace or come close to the genius French original this gives it a fair shot and I am excited to see the series unfold. ‘Nikita’ premiers Thursday September 9th.
