Nan Goldin shot a lookbook for Australian designers Scanlan & Theodore with Erin Wasson somewhere in upstate New York, which we all know has the greatest beat up old mansions in the country. I shot a music video at a friends 18th century estate years ago.. love that shabby look. Nan has been an obsession of mine since a friend gave me a copy of “The Ballad of Sexual Dependency” freshman year at Bard. Another photographer friend of mine from Bard went to work as Nan’s assistant for a few years after graduation and would come home with the most amazing stories… She is truly a living legend, I want a copy of that lookbook… I love their Spring Summer 2011 collection as well. Beautiful.
