Nylon magazine had a great party last night at Tru in Hollywood to celebrate their April issue featuring five separate cover girls including Abbie Cornish. I’ve worked with Abbie a few times and think she is amazing so am dying to see her new film “Sucker Punch” which finally opens today. One of my other favorite girls, Taryn Manning, was DJ’ing the event, spinning rad tunes including sneak peaks from her new album which we are shooting the video for next week (more on that later…) The night wouldn’t be complete without some reminiscing about the old days with Marvin Jarrett, who founded and edits the magazine. I remember meeting Marvin for the first time in an elevator going down from the offices of Marek & Associates in NYC right before he launched Nylon twelve years ago. It’s pretty impressive what he has built over the years and I’ve always been proud of the shoots I did for them. Some images from one of my favorite shoots below…
