…Has become the corner of my health Mecca. Whenever my body starts feeling cranky from 5″ heels and the non-stop pace we all go at, I run (sometimes shuffle) to the Pain Relief Center and My Pilates Body. Gulia at the Pain Relief center is my massage therapist (she is there on Thursdays) and for $75 I get 45 minutes to not only release the tension in my body but also my mind as she lets me rehash my day, week or month depending on when I am seeing her. I have been going to her for almost three years now and I swear it’s better than therapy. Tom Marinaro is the chiropractor that owns the center and whenever the horrid monster of back pain resurfaces for even a moment I go to him for an adjustment that puts everything back in order. And then there is Erica Meek who owns My Pilates Body where I’ve been going to tone up since May 2008. All combined this is the center of well being for me. The fact that Beverly Juice is just a couple blocks away on Orlando and Beverly makes it the only place I need to go for health and rejuvenation (until I can afford another trip to the Ann Wigmore Institute). Dr.Tom as he is affectionately called just started carrying the Technogel Sleeping line which is phenomenal. If only I could afford the $5000 mattress…
