There is nothing more heartbreaking than watching a talented artist rise, fall, crash and burn and be remembered for the tragedy of their death rather than the talent and skills that brought them into our hearts in the first place. And as much as we will reminisce and wax poetic about Whitney Houston ‘the artist’ what will always lurk in the back of our minds and in the shadow of her old soul musical skills and that heavenly voice is what happened to her as a result of all of the above. There is no greater unanswered question than why certain artists are so tortured and simultaneously shine such a light onto our world.
