Tim Sutton’s film “Memphis,” starring Willis Earl Beal, which I saw and loved at Sundance this January, opens September 5th. It’s a lyrical cinematic poem about the life of a musician, shot and paced in a quiet effective way. For film geeks and music lovers alike. Go see it. Trailer below.
